Under the Malibu's Hood
The car has a standard 1.5-liter Ecotec engine that will get you 37 mpg highway and provide fuel-saving stop/start technology. This engine is a small-displacement gas one to provide great efficiency. The Malibu Hybrid will provide up to 45 mpg highway, and has a 1.8-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder engine with a two-motor drive unit. The Hybrid will get up to 182 horsepower. There is available Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR), too, to add to the car's great fuel economy.
Design of Chevrolet Malibu
The 2016 Chevrolet Malibu's glistening design calls all sorts of people to it who are looking for a fashionable yet smooth driving experience. You might be surprised to hear that the Malibu is essentially built of high-strength steel, but assemblers used thin parts for many parts of the car because of that. The headlamps fit onto the car well, and the car has a dual-port grille. The car also has three creases on each side. Did you know that the "cowl" of a car is the place where the engine meets the hood? Well, you do now--and for the Malibu the cowl is low to create great aerodynamic performance. This car will provide an excellent level of comfort for all occupants: It has light-emitting diode (LED) daytime running lamps on the Premier and LT models. The Premier model also has LED taillamps.
Is there a rear-view camera?
It is standard on the Hybrid, Premier, LS and LT models.
Is there cruise control?
There is available adaptive cruise control.
What is the number for your sales department?
The Malibu has ten standard airbags to protect people incase a crash happens. The car also has other advanced features to make for a very safe trip: Front Automatic Braking, Automatic Parking Assist, Forward Collision Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are all available. The above-mentioned Teen Driver feature allows parents or guardians to see how fast their child was driving, or any alerts the car may have informed the teen about. Teen Driver alerts passengers when they are not wearing their seat belts by muting any device paired with the car and/or the audio until the occupants put their seat belts on.
