When choosing a Tahoe model in 2020, there are three trim levels to look at. The base LS model is configured with three bench seats, triple-zone climate control, power front seats, smartphone integration, power front seats, remote engine start, a backup camera, and more. The upper two trim levels are outfitted with leather upholstery, off-road tires, driver assistance features, ventilated front seats, blind-spot monitoring, high-intensity headlights, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, power-retractable side steps, hands-free tailgate, navigation, and more. The available Z71 off-road package adds features like hill-descent control, an upgraded suspension, and skid plates to the Tahoe.

There are two powertrain options available for the Tahoe in the 2020 model year. The standard engine is a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. With standard 2WD, this engine can reach up to 22 miles per gallon on the highway. Thanks to the Active Cylinder Management, fuel is saved when half the cylinders are shut off when cruising. Chevrolet mates this engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. The second engine, found under the hood of the Premier trim is a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with 2WD and 4WD. This engine is configured with a 10-speed automatic transmission. No matter the engine, the Tahoe can tow up to 8,600 pounds!

The Tahoe is jam-packed with advanced safety features to help keep all the passengers inside safe and sound. Just a few of the safety features offered for 2020 include a 4-wheel antilock disc brake system, a suite of 7 airbags, daytime running lights, the LATCH system to secure child safety seats correctly, the OnStar communications system, a backup camera, Rear Park Assist, rear child safety door locks, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Tahoe also comes outfitted with Chevrolet's Teen Driver system. This configurable feature lets parents limit certain vehicle features and automatically turn off certain safety features like the radio and speed.
