What's under the hood of the Trailblazer?

There are two engine options available for the Chevy Trailblazer, and they both come with a solid amount of horsepower and torque. The base engine is a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that pumps out 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque which pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is the default setup though all-wheel-drive is optional for those who need a little more reaction for those bad weather days. Optional is a turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder that pumps out a spectacular155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque and has a nine-speed automatic transmission.

What features can I get for the Trailblazer?

In addition to its impressive power, the Chevy Trailblazer also comes with a long list of features, even at the base trim level. The base LS is up first, and it comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, a Wi-Fi hotspot, automatic high beams, a six-speaker audio system, and a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The LT adds to this with roof rails, LED foglights, heated mirrors, proximity keyless entry and push-button ignition, heated front seats, and a power driver's seat. Want to head off the road? Then check out the Activ trim, which has several advanced off-road systems such as underbody skid plates and a tow hitch receiver. You also get simulated leather upholstery, a rear-seat armrest, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and unique styling elements. Higher trims have more premium features, such as 18-inch alloy wheels with standard tires and red-exterior accents.

What safety features are available for the Trailblazer?

Now that we have covered the features of the Trailblazer, let's have a look at the systems that are designed to keep you and your family safe on the open road. Standard is a Forward Collision Mitigation system that will warn you of an impending collision and can even apply the brakes if you fail to do so. Also standard is a Lane Keeping Assist system that will keep the Trailblazer in between the painted lines and alert you if you happen to travel outside of them.
