How powerful is the Equinox?
Once again, the Chevy Equinox is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but the horsepower has been upped from 175 to 180 with a torque of 203 lb-ft. Pairing with this engine is a smooth six-speed automatic transmission that will surely provide you with a smooth ride on the highway and the city streets. The default setup is front-wheel-drive, though you can get all-wheel-drive for additional traction if you need it. We think this is a one-of-a-kind engine and will surely get you where you need to go with ease.
2023 Chevy Equinox Features
Every year, the Equinox outdoes itself when it comes to its features list, and the 2023 version is no exception. The base LS has many features, including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, keyless entry, push-button ignition, a 7-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can also opt for a Convenience Package with a power-adjustable driver's seat, an enhanced multi-color driver information display, and a rear privacy glass. If you go up a level, you will get the LT which comes standard with chrome and body-colored exterior trim, satellite radio, and illuminated sun visors. The LT also has a few packages in its own right, such as the Confidence and Convenience Package, which has a remote engine start, dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and a power liftgate. You can also get the Midnight and Sport packages in 2023, which deck out the Equinox with 18-inch gloss black wheels, front and rear black packages, and body-color mirror housings. The next trim is the RS which provides you with black-painted 19-inch wheels, a unique shift knob, and roof rails. An optional leather package with leather upholstery and a Bose sound system. If you want the best of the best, we recommend the Premier, which rounds out the lineup with features like ambient cabin lighting, a wireless charging pad, an 8-inch touchscreen, an upgraded backup camera, and standard leather upholstery.
